Target Audience:

- The indications and limiting factors of performing MRI-guided HIFU ablation for symptomatic uterine fibroids;
- Recognize the technical opportunities to reduce the limiting factors so more appropriate patients can be treated; and
- Describe techniques to expand patient selection and improve therapeutic outcomes, including manipulating bowel loops, dealing with abdominal scars, alleviating fibroid size limitations, and overcoming excessive lesion vascularity.
