Background
The goal of this interactive universal iOS app is to improve the knowledge of the lumbar spine on a pattern based approach to the evaluation of a variety of non traumatic spinal pathology that can be encountered on an abdominal CT.

Educational Goals / Teaching Points
This educational computer-based exhibit is designed to review the anatomy of the lumbar spine on abdominal CT and provide a guide for structural review. offer a pattern-based approach to the evaluation of various non-traumatic spinal pathologies on CT, and present cases in an interactive quiz format with a range of lumbar spine pathologies, highlighting the CT imaging appearance and showing how characteristic imaging findings can help determine the underlying disease process.

Key Anatomic/Physiologic Issues and Imaging Findings/Techniques
This iOS app presents the tutorial in seven main categories of lumbar spine such as low bone density, high bone density, vertebral body morphology, focal spinal involvement, diffuse spinal involvement, aggressive lesions, soft tissue involvement.

Conclusion
The app is designed to enhance users’ knowledge and consists of 2 main sections, learn and quiz. Learn (demonstrates a pattern-based approach to lumbar spine pathologies in the format of case studies, illustrations, pearls, differential diagnoses, and discussions in seven main categories including low bone density, high bone density, vertebral body morphology, focal spinal involvement, diffuse spinal involvement, aggressive lesions, and soft tissue involvement. Quiz (an interactive, randomly selected 10 cases are launched at each access time to present various diagnoses. The quiz page is outfitted with a dashboard, which can keep track of users’ progress each time, evaluate their knowledge, and help them to improve it).
