Key Anatomic/Physiologic Issues and Imaging Findings/Techniques
A retrospective review was done of imaging features of acute pancreatitis (cases confirmed clinically and with appropriate laboratory parameters) and its uncommon complications from our institution PACS (Picture archiving and communication system). Uncommon complications included in this educational exhibit are: Pancreatico-pleural fistula, pseudo aneurysm of splenic artery and pseudo aneurysm of superior mesenteric artery, splenic vein thrombosis and portal vein thrombosis, hepatic infarction secondary to portal vein thrombosis, pancreatico-psoas fistula, sub capsular hepatic hematoma, sub capsular splenic hematoma and small bowel obstruction.

Conclusion
Radiologist and radiology trainees should have thorough knowledge to assess for the unusual complications associated with acute pancreatitis for better patient management and outcome.
